🔴 YouTube Disabled Comments on My Videos – YouTube Banned Comments?

Last week YouTube announced that they were disabling comments for videos and channels featuring children in order to protect children from “predatory comments”. Both of my channels were affected by this decision which also had the strange side effect of changing my default monetization settings. Luckily, this change was reversible and I was able to restore comments and monetization in my channel settings but YouTube warned that comments would be permanently disabled, demonitization or even removal of channels could occur if predatory comments were not screened by creators. Yesterday, YouTube permanently disabled comments on this channel. However, it is unclear why since there were no incidents of predatory comments. It is unclear what will happen next? However, at the time I did this live stream comments were allowed during and after the live stream.
