Solo Bushcraft Overnighter – Tarp Shelter, Chaga Tea, Campfire Cooking, Rain, River Camping

Join me as I spend two days alone in the beautiful Canadian wilderness next to a little river. On this trip I make a comfortable camp under a giant white spruce tree, enjoy some delicious campfire meals, and sleep soundly under a cloth tarp as it rains throughout the night.

Day temp : 15 degrees Celsius
Night temp: 5 degrees Celsius

Are there dangerous animals in this area?
This area is home to many different animals, some of which are black bears, girzzly bears, wolves, and mountain lions.
I’ve never had any issues with wildlife. They tend to leave humans alone.
I do carry bear spray with me for protection.

What was I drinking?
Chaga tea and boiled river water.

What did I eat?
A slab of beef cut into small pieces then roasted by the fire. Seasoned with spices and barbecue sauce.
In the morning I had fried beef slices with an egg, both seasoned with spices.
