VIDA: Chiapas Expedition – A Night in a Cave on the Cliff (Days 5 and 6)

Days 5 and 6 of this epic adventure in Rio la Venta Canyon in Chiapas, Mexico. The last days we moved our camp to an awesome location at the opening of a cave on the wall of the canyon. We had to climb up up a ledge to reach the cave about seven meters up the wall of the cliff. The sounds of the forest were amplified due to the natural acoustics of the location. Listen to the dialogue at the campfire and the sound of the cicadas in the background. The next morning was so beautiful observing the birds from this vantage point. In another video previously published we then hiked several kilometers out of the canyon and eventually arrived at a small village where the people spoke a native language called Tsotsil.
