Cooking FRESH GROUSE!!! | ANY BEARS AROUND?!? | WILD High Bush Cranberry Sauce, Oyster Mushrooms

Grousing is more of a long walk in the woods than it is about putting food on the table. In this trip I spent 3 days and about 20 hours walking old logging roads and bush whacking to find the wild ruffed grouse.

I take a visit to Jeremy’s bear hunting treestand to see if there is any activity on the trailcamera, and talk about the gun I use for all my hunting as well as ear protection.

To my grouse I added wild high bush cranberries (made into a sauce with my own maple sugar), wild mushrooms supplied by Jeremy, and bear fat to moisten; a meal fit for any outdoorsman! As always we cook outdoors in the field.

I also touch on techniques for grouse including trail walking, my thoughts on atv use, old logging roads, environmental conditions and bushwacking.
