Clay Turtle Firing and Sticky Monkey Flower Tea at the Hut

I often make small items out of clay, sometimes I test the clay from a different location, sometimes I make a piece that is both artistic and functional. In this video I fire three small pieces in the adobe rocket stove and then prepare a hot tea made of a local medicinal plant called sticky monkey flower. Two of the clay pieces are just a test of clay found somewhere else but the third piece is made of clay found by the hut and sculpted like a turtle with five holes to hold cattail torches. Let’s see if it works.
