Sharing your time taking younger blokes hunting and fishing counts as time well spent. Often they have more excitement and enthusiasm than my own age group but most importantly they go home with having learned something new which can not be learned out of books or from Google. This fishing trip was one of those. Young Jody had commented on the way I was winding my reel on one of my fishing clips so rather than try and explain to him how I roll I just took him fishing to see how he would be in the same situation and more importantly what he might learn. This was an epic haul for two guys in a homemade boat floating around in the dark. We all ate well long after this fishing adventure.
