Build a Primitive Adobe Rocket Stove (Part 1)

Primitive cooking on the floor in the hut is inefficient and dangerous so I decided to build an adobe rocket stove. Being my first time building anything like this I was a bit unsure if my technique would be very effective so I did some research. I didn’t find any good examples of adobe stoves online so this is a bit experimental. I also want it to be versatile for a number of cooking methods, i.e. baking, smoking, boiling, roasting, drying and firing pottery.
I began by making a good number of adobe bricks from earth mixed with dry grass and water and letting those dry in a mould made of previously made adobe bricks. I then selected an area free of vegetation close to the hut and arranged a layer of large stones for the foundation. After the foundation was placed I spread mud over the stones and laid a layer of bricks for the base. I then began building the walls.
In a effort to increase air flow to feed the fire oxygen I formed an adobe pipe to place between bricks on the bottom row of the wall. I really had no idea whether this would work or not but I figured that if it did not work then I could just stuff clay in the hole to cover it up.

This is Part 1 of this project.
