Amazing Primitive Lemonade for Surviving Hot Days

In this video I find lemonade berry bushes and show how to make a delicious thirst quenching primitive lemonade beverage in my earthen clay cup to help combat dehydration

Lemonade berry (Rhus integrifolia) is a common endemic plant species to southern California. Lemonade berry shrubs are commonly found on the arid slopes near the coast and are very common in San Diego. Flowers appear in early spring and fruit ripens to a shiny red in early summer. The fruit is very sour and best when mixed with water to make a delicious natural beverage that tastes like sour lemonade.
