Solo Winter Camping in Primitive Shelter – no tent, no sleeping bag

I forgot some of my most important equipment on this overnight outing. My sleeping bag, tarp/tent, and my sleeping pad. Lucky for me I brought along some extra help in the form of a new friend! So we built a survival bushcraft shelter to spend the night in the snow and under the full moon.

and yes I intentionally didn’t bring those items for a challenge

Daytime Temp 1°C / 33°F
