Cliff Top Camping at Devil’s Kitchen – Snowdonia Adventure (Part 1)

We went to Snowdonia for an adventure and headed to the Devil’s Kitchen to camp on the cliff top above Cwm Idwal which has a popular Llyn. It can be found in the incredible Ogwen Valley.
The ascent took in a severely steep climb which takes you straight up the mountain side near what’s known as Devil’s Appendix. We were wild camping at 710 metres high and had amazing views. It was a really hot day but the temperature dropped quite a lot at night being so high up. The following day we headed towards Snowdon to get a good viewpoint of it.
Dinorwic quarry exploration and camp out will follow in part two soon.
