We Were Not Alone… Cadair Idris Wild Camp & Hike – Snowdonia, UK

On this weeks outdoors adventure we went wild camping to Cadair Idris in Snowdonia and stayed next to Llyn Cau for the night. I cooked up a fillet steak and chips(!) and enjoyed some first rate ales.
We had some neighbours which pitched incredibly close to us despite masses of other great spots around. But we didn’t let it hold us back and partied until 11:30.
Before the rest of the world woke up we were climbing up Craig Cau and then onwards towards Penygadair (893m). We hiked the whole length of the ridge which took around three and a half hours to complete and get back to the car park.
It was a really tough walk, the terrain is incredibly steep around this area but it’s definitely worthwhile!
