10 Youtuber’s Sleeping Pad, Mat, Cot or Shelter Reviews – Wild Camping

I asked 10 wild camping youtubers to give their reviews on the camp beds that they regularly use. I was surprised to find that there was a big variety in foam mats, air beds, cots, hammocks and pads. There is a wide variety of things you could be sleeping on when camping and I don’t think everything was covered but we got through a great deal. The favourite seemed to be the Trekology aluft UL80 – https://amzn.to/3iFSBUu which may be the best summer mat option. For winter time you need to check the R rating to find what temperature it will insulate you down to. I was also surprised at the amount of foam roll mats being used. I do like to take my folding closed cell mat sometimes myself too. We even had a Mors Kochanski super shelter being built.
