What You Need For Hot Tent Camping This Winter

I wanted to go through my wild camping gear that I use when I go out hot tent camping in the Winter. Here is what you will need to go hot tent camping. When you’re camping wild in the Winter it’s extremely important to be prepared and understand the temperatures that you might be facing. Here is my personal load out for the hot tent.

I go through each essential gear item one by one and then switch it up at the end to show what I’d take if I didn’t have the hot tent with me if I was going to an area without trees. What you need to remember is that a wood stove could easily go out in the night so you need to be ready with a half decent sleeping bag to deal with that. What I found was that there’s not a lot of difference in pack sizes if you are taking a hot tent or not as you need more clothes if you haven’t got a wood burner.
