Camping by Giant Boulders & Pools | Wild Wales Mountains

We went wild camping up the Welsh Mountains for the night to hunt for a secret forgotten wild area we call the “Boulder Pools”. A camping spot we forgot the location of for years! It was extremely hard to get to and about 4 miles from the nearest road. We managed to power through bogs, tall grass, scree, gorse and multiple river crossings to get to it.
We had 48 hours notice before a second lockdown kicks in for the dreaded coronavirus… A subject I think we’ve all had enough of. The decision was made quite easily to head to the hills while we are still legally allowed to.
