The eating of insects is accepted and an everyday norm in over 80% of the world’s population. Eating bugs and cooking insects may seem like an extremely distasteful activity, but given the choice between starvation or making bugs the menu, what would you choose?

Disclaimer: Several beetle larva were killed and consumed in this video. To be fair, these beetle larvae have killed over 90% of my ancient centurion trees these past few years, devastating and destroying the forest. As an act of vengeance or as an opportunistic meal option, I am left only with an extraordinary amount of sorrow in light of all that these insects have destroyed.
