Be Prepared for Texas Fishing, DON’T do this to Fish!

While Spear fishing one night in South Texas I came across and took a Gar that had partially swallowed a broken steel fishing leader… The leader is not strong enough for the majority of fish in this river. I was able to catch sight of another gar that night trailing another leader but was unfortunately unable to harvest it.

When gear is inadequate and hooks are being lost they don’t just disappear. The creatures afflicted with these must live with the torture of that persons ignorance until they die a very slow and undoubtedly agonizing death. Death should not be needless.
