Hunting where Pines meets the native Bush, ~Catch, Kill & Cook

I have always favored hunting for wild pigs in country where forestry meets either native bush or farmland or thick scrub. Pigs being inquisitive creatures and opportunist feeders like to hang around in these margins. In between two different types of growth you often find dead wood from wind blown or slips and this brings all the grubs and worms as it breaks down which pigs thrive on. It also offers shelter and protection. A thick wall of blackberry next to the end of a forestry line of pines is pretty much impenetrable for a medium to a large dog but a wild pig of any size will easily push through it and make it a nice home for having its babies or just parking up for the day.
