Hunting & Cooking Outdoors~Clay Tall Stories

It finally hit me like a charging bull. The realization of my reality… I now own this piece of land which I have been renting for the last 15 years! I can freely take a rabbit, hare, possum for the pot or graze and butcher my own livestock. It has been a long time coming. The possibilities are endless. It’s not big but it’s not too small either.
I was out walking with the 22 thinking of making a ‘hunting at home’ video when I felt this immense feeling of belonging somewhere. Somewhere that I could build a future without being told to move one. Where I could plan boot camps for young men or give shelter to mates in need or have a base for my children. A place maybe that one day I could share with some who I Ioved. A place where I can freely walk my dogs and of cause shoot some small game for the pot. Maybe build a wetland for ducks to come in and plant more native trees so the native birds can nest and thrive. Build that log cabin I have always dreamed about since being a boy. Put in a proper cooler for animals and fish that I have harvested so when I come home from a hunt I have a place to hang my kill instead of having to skin and butcher it straight when I am tired from the hunt. Get ITM to build me a barn so I have a workshop with a concrete floor where I could work on my truck or build another boat. A place to keep my tools that does not leak.
