Building the Escape Hatch – WW2 Bunker Rennovation (PART 7)

I continue rennovating the abandoned ww2 bunker that is in my back garden. In part 7 we focus on building the escape hatch. The bunker never had a hatch previously, it just had a concrete slab on top with an air gap. But I figured it would have been better to have a backup exit if things were going down! So now that the escape ladder was built, it made sense to build a folding escape hatch in the air vent shaft. Stay tuned for more world war 2 bunker updates soon!
