How to Forage for Mushrooms – Wild Food Identification – Chanterelle and other species – Q&A

I go foraging for some wild edible food – Chanterelle mushrooms – in a local private woodland, guided by my mushroom expert and good friend Lee. The main target species being golden chanterelle and winter chanterelle but we came across various other species such as Scarletina Bolete, Amethyst Deceiver, Bay Bolete, Brown Birch Bolete, and Hedgehog fungus. Look out for our next video on Ceps – coming soon!
These mushrooms were foraged in the UK and please note: This video is for entertainment purposes only. Please do not use this video as your guide to identifying mushrooms…..I had to write that as I don’t want anyone holding me accountable for any misidentification issues.
One last thing…if you do go to the woods…make sure you have permission to gather, and only gather what you need!
