ABANDONED WOODLAND SHELTER – BUSHCRAFT, CAMPFIRE COOKING, FOOD, SKILLET

I found this abandoned and neglected bushcraft shelter in the woods. With a little bit of effort I managed to give it a bit of a tidy up and then cooked up some food during the rainstorm. My dog Amber joined me for the day but she was more interested in sheltering under the nearby tree, watching me rebuild the shelter.
The fire was made with a firesteel (ferro rod) and silver birch bark. I used a cast iron skillet to fry my pork steak and added some onions toward the end.
