Camping & fishing in France – Le Cher (river) 2018. With my dog, Amber!

I go camping and fishing with friends in France, in search of good times!

We caught carp, catfish, tench, sunfish (bluegill), roach, perch, black bass. The river was Le Cher and we were after the native and very invasive ‘Silure’ (Catfish). Fishing on a river is far more enjoyable than lake fishing as the majority of what you catch is totally wild! However, we did have a few sessions on the local lake.
