I have used this cook set for cooking on an open fire, to dry baking. The lid is good for a snow scoop when you need to melt snow for water. The 1.2 liter size is perfect for winter backpacking. At 2.85oz the 800ml pot is good for lightweight backpacking the rest of the year.
This set is much cheaper than the toaks and evernew backpacking cook sets.
