A Week Traversing Snowdonia’s Highest Mountains | Thru-hike Wild Camp

Me and Drufus went backpacking across Snowdonia national park the hard way. We traversed as many of the highest mountains as we could en-route. This thru-hike took us from Dolgellau to Aber falls with the final night in Conwy. We spent the week wild camping through the route with a hostel or two on the way.
We crossed the Rhinogydd, Moelwynion, The Glyderau, The Snowdon Massif and Carneddau with a total of 6800m climb, 17 mountains and 74 miles or 120 kilometres distance.
If the shear amount of distance and elevation wasn’t enough we got soaked for 3 or 4 days running, had to wade through waist deep grass, had a flysheet rip completely off the tent in the middle of the night, obtained mega blisters and muscles on fire. We carried everything we needed for our time on the trail which took us a full 7 days. We camped most of the route and stayed at 2 different hostels. I bought most of the meals on this trip from Base Camp Foods – https://basecampfood.com/?ref=y99pNHRoQexZkl
