When will Season 5 of ALONE air, no one is sure, but the contestants have gone offline quite a while ago, so the premier or ALONE should be coming up soon. Some have speculated that it will air mid-June. Shooting started in August and wrapped up in November.

The first 2 seasons of ALONE were filmed on Vancouver Island, British Columbia while Season 3 was filmed in Patagonia. History Channel has not revealed the location of Season 5, but early guesses based on the geography suggest Mongolia.

I didn’t lose the ALONE show before, but the ones that were picked for the show did…apparently.

The location appears to be Mongolia, the home of Genghis Khan as we see the Ulaan Tsutgalan Falls, Orkhon River. A non-typical location for the show, grassland, open planes, and what look like very little wood for building waaaay too elaborate “survival structures” which are a waste of time anyway, and also for cooking….will they even have anything to cook?

Can they even hunt in Mongolia? Or is this just another fish eating show because bushcrafters don’t hunt…or do they?
