Bear Crawling up a Volcano

This region of the Mojave National Preserve in California contains several volcanic cinder cones that were still active 10,000 years ago. Bear crawling is the only way to climb up due to the steep slopes covered with loose cinders. The view from the top is spectacular!

En esta región de la Reserva Nacional de Mojave en California hay varios volcanes cilindros que estuvieron activos hace 10.000 años. Gatear como un oso es la única manera para subir debido a la inclinada cubierta de piedras flojas. ¡Desde lo alto la vista es espectacular!
