In a real evacuation situation IE bug out, a survival food kit is going to be a big asset. This first build includes three gallons of water, a mountain of freeze dried foods, snacks and more. In my viewpoint, it makes more sense to have a dedicated food supply instead of eating the rations from your bug out bag. Leave that for the last resort, when you’re on foot with no other options!
