BUILDING A CELTIC ROUNDHOUSE WITH TA OUTDOORS using a SAW – AXE – KNIFE Ep.1

We spend the day gathering materials needed to construct the traditional Celtic roundhouse. The majority of the wood we are using is Cedar, of which there is plenty in this woodland. The Viking house saw horse was resurrected and we gave it a little makeover and adapted it to our needs….peeling bark using a draw knife. We are aiming to thatch the roof on this build and also cob the walls. Who knows….we might even build a few beds and a cooking area inside!

Join us in the next episode as we begin to build the Celtic roundhouse and cook up a feast.
