CAMPOUT DURING LOCKDOWN? ABANDONED SHELTER Camping Solo With My Dog | Bushcraft | Cooking & Foraging

This was filmed days before the UK lockdown as I decided to head into the woods to do a bit of solo camping, fire lighting, foraging and cooking with my dog. The weather was cold, overcast and rain was due but that didn’t stop me from packing the supplies (hammock, tent, tarp, sleeping bag, cooking pots and pans, food, axe, knife, saw and my good old trusty fire lighting device; the fire piston (link below). I collected cramp balls (king Alfred cakes / daldinia concentrica) and used them to get the fire started, along with a little help from some wind dried grass and dead sticks. The night was a bit cold but I was ok with the sheepskin that was lining the sleeping bag.

Thanks for watching!
