Dartmoor Car Camping – Car Camper Adventures – Devon, UK

This time we head off to south Devon, nowhere specific, we would figure that out later. Setting off early we wanted to cram as much in as possible before meeting some friends in Exmouth in about a day and a half. Whereas a 1-2 night for 2 stay could cost over Β£100, our trip has cost us nothing.

The bed in the car might be considerably smaller and not as comfy as the one you would get in a hotel, but I promise you the memories will be far greater. Although I guess that depends on what hotel your staying at πŸ˜†
I mean there are probably tree house yurts somewhere around now.

We love tent camping as much as the next person, but before this we had years of tent camping in different locations every night, and it became more about finding the perfect spot, or a spot in general sometimes. Than getting to see lots of the beauty spots of the place you are travelling.

For us it’s all about doing and seeing as much as we can, for as long as possible, on a budget price and still sleeping under the stars.

Making your camper can be cheap too! using a few items found around the house I made mine for just Β£50. You can watch it below…
