Decided to try a subscription box…again. Previous experiences have not been good, boxes have been full of cheapo gear I wouldn’t even give to my worst enemy.

However, Nomadik caught my attention with their focus on common sense survival gear and name brands so I decided to give them a try.

Needless to say, I’m happy with the results. This particular box had essential gear that everyone needs in their survival kit or bug out bag. Dry bags, stoves and fire starters are important but sometimes overlooked in the quest for cool knives and guns.

After extensive testing, I can verify that the dry bag from EarthPak works as expected, the Esbit stove is a win and the UCO Sweetfire match does indeed burn long enough to boil water for a proper lunch in the forest.
