Foraging & Making Wood Ear Soup Homesteading

Foraging is very natural to us. It’s a bit like free shopping and it brings us joy. I do it in public places and home. After harvesting some wild banana passion fruit I go back to the fallen tree in the native bush behind my home to gather Wood Ear also known as Jelly Ear. My vegetable garden provides the rest and I make for the first time a spicy Wood Ear Soup.
