Forked Stick Bow Drill Hearth

Letting nature take care of the notch by using a forked branch for a bow drill hearth. In really dry conditions this can be accomplished without removing any material from the fork; but there was still quite a bit of moisture in the bark so I removed the top layer of the hearth to increase the chances of success.

Questions, comments, and suggestions are always welcome and appreciated.
