Freezing Solo Snow Wild Camping up Fan Gyhirych

I went out solo wild camping in the snow this Winter up Fan Gyhirich which is near the Crai Reservoir. It was a freezing cold night and it didn’t get above 0 the whole time I was out. The wind during the night blew through the tent making it feel colder. Fan Gyhirich is extremely steep and I got up as high as possible whilst it was still light.

When I set out I couldn’t decide whether to head for the woods or to go uphill towards the snow line. I ended up heading for the white stuff which was an unforgettable but very cold experience. From frozen shoes to stoves stopping working my drone even got too much ice stuck to the blades at one point and refused to fly.
