How To Make A Primitive Raft. Clay Tall Stories

This is how I make a raft with nothing but plants growing on the waterfront. The harakeke (flax) is used for its string or rope for bindings, the dead stalks for flotation, and the long fronds for weaving into a sail. Other pieces of driftwood make the struts and paddle. Join me on this primitive boat-making challenge.
