A little help:
“Kuksa is a traditional Finnish wood mug that accompanies a Finnish person throughout his life and is used as a cutlery.”

“Suvel (swil) – as the name implies, the outgrowth got its name because of its structure. Suvel is a drop-shaped or spherical outgrowth on a tree (there is also an annular variety that covers the tree trunk around the perimeter), usually grows faster than the tree itself 2 times -3. When sawing, it has a texture similar in pattern to marble and mother-of-pearl (this is the main sign of difference from burl).
Formed on a tree trunk for various reasons. For example, weather conditions, climatic effects of the environment.
Sometimes the suvel is called wood bone due to the fact that after careful polishing and impregnation with various oils, the tree takes on a bony appearance, and its thin parts are visible through. “
