HOW TO PONASS A FISH OVER A FIRE. SMOKED SALMON / TROUT – BUSHCRAFT COOKING – WOODLAND CAMP FIRE

Learn how to prepare and cook a fish the bushcraft way. This has been done for thousands of years using very basic tools and a few pieces of wood. In the video, I use Hazel for the steak and skewers (cross-section pins). It’s a very satisfying way of cooking fish and guarantees to enhance the flavour with some of the woodsmoke. Anyone can do this….it really is simple to do!
Filmed at my woodland camp – the Viking house – situated in private woodland in the UK. Book onto one of our courses to learn more about bushcraft and cooking in the woods (link below).

This video was extracted from a 2-day camp out at the Viking House. Full video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-p6NqKyJGs&t=1s
