I built a door for my adobe hut

Without a door there was always a cold draft of air that would sweep through the hut at night making it difficult to sleep. I thought long and hard about how I would make a door. The idea finally came to me to make it out of cattail reeds. Cattails are abundant along the edges of shallow ponds and streams. I collected a bundle at a nearby pond then ran into the hills in search of yucca which is the source of fibers I use to make cordage. Once I had acquired all the necessary materials I went to work to put it all together and then spent a more comfortable night sleeping in the hut. The door is a huge improvement!
