Just Making A Knife.

Info for kiridashi knife
Just making a knife.

I make a kiridashi knife! A kiridashi I mainly used for fine detail work but can also be used for heavier work as well. The kiridashi is a great knife making project for beginners as there is not much to this blade and there are no plunge lines. You can make the kiridashi as simple or as complex as you like.
The steel I used was 1080. You can find it buy googling “1080 knife making steel” and shopping around as it can be hard to find. Thanks for watching!
