Making clay soup pot and sealing cracks with natural sealant

Clay is abundant here in the shallow earth. I used a gray colored clay to form a small pot and lid. After firing it I discovered that it had a small leak. I had read that soap plant can be used to seal pots so I dug up a bulb and tried it out. It worked!
