Mountain Stream Bushcraft Wild Camp – Wales, UK

We went for a wild camp in Wales, UK beside a mountain stream for the night with a spot of bushcraft. The weather was quite nice on the way up there but temperatures dropped dramatically at night. I showed a bit of new wild camping gear I’ve got hold of. We had a small fire going beside the stream at the campsite to warm up. I had a quick swim in a deep pool which was colder than I expected 😅. I slept on my OEX ultralite cot, Druf was on the Sea to Summit air bed and Poppy was on a reflective foam mat zipped up in my down jacket! We cooked up a Saag lamb curry and a Fillet steak stir fry with sweet chilli sauce.
My “wife’s socks” were actually from Oddballs as well as my boxers. They make some great bright looking clothing and donate some of their profits towards testicular cancer research.

Remember to leave no trace and love the great outdoors!
