Rig which is also known as gummy sharks is one of the best eating sharks there is. The flesh is often used in fish & chip shops in New Zealand and makes great deep-fried fish pieces done in the batter. In this video my son Jona catches his first rig plus a few other species which we love to eat here in Tasman NZ.
