Off Grid Cabin is Finally Done! | Cabinets, Sink, Wall Sconces, Door Gaps…What’s Next?

I completely button up the interior construction finishes of tiny off grid cabin in the woods.

I start off with making some really cool walnut wall sconces for free!

I’ll tackle the ceiling, front door, kitchen cabinets and sink as well as the plumbing – keeping in mind the future for running water in a rain catchment system.

I will teach you how to make a diy kitchen cabinet system with cupboard doors, repurposed hinges, and wood milled from a portable sawmill.

Next, I’ll show you how to complete a custom cedar board ceiling using the sawmill and place the slates over to produce a finished look.

The custom build door is covered over so there are no more gaps. Now we are ready to outfit the cabin with running water from a rainwater collection system. Finally, I’ll finish the wooden loft stairs and make them secure and safe to be able to access the upper level of the cabin.
