Packrafting and Wild Camping. Solo Overnight Camp by the River. OneTigris Tetra Tent.

In this video, I head out on the river in my new packraft for a solo wild camp overnighter. With everything I need packed in a small 35l drybag, I inflate my boat and head off.

Battling through thick vegetation growing in the river, I wind my way along this small Norfolk river and finally arrive at my camp spot for the night.

I set up my tent – a new lightweight backpacking tent from OneTigris – the TETRA. I have been excited to try out this tent, especially on this trip since I discovered that my packraft paddle works perfectly as the tent pole.

Once set up, it’s time for firewood prep and getting the fire lit for dinner and boozy hot chocolates.

Apologies for the focus issues through the video, my usual camera is being repaired at the moment, so I had to use an old camera which is a bit on the temperamental side and a GoPro which has strange audio! Hopefully normal video quality will return soon.
