Primitive Kitchen: Clay Grill Agave Leaf

This very simple and primitive clay grill I made can really enhance the outdoor survival cooking experience. The holes enable faster cooking than a solid flat rock or comal. I don’t believe this is a traditional method to cook desert agave leaves but I decided to try and see how well it works. Because of time to film and move the camera around I ended up cooking it a little too long but it was still edible and pleasant tasting. I think sprinkling water on it more frequently would also help produce a better tasting agave leaf.
