Roof Tent Camp in Heavy Rain and Wind. North Wales Adventure with Jason Eke. BBQ in the rain.

In this video, I am heading up to North Wales for a long overdue mountain fix! Travelling up with Jason Eke from Trailguide Pictures in my Land Rover, we finally arrive after a long drive and an annoying breakdown and get things set up for the night – my new (not new) Alu Cab roof tent is my overnight accommodation (massive thank you to Dave and Lucie!) and Jason is in the hammock in the vehicle.

Having set things up and creating some comfortable space inside to escape the heavy rain and strong winds, we cook up some dinner – burgers cooked on the fire-pit bbq (in the rain).

We spend the evening with a couple of beers and planning our big hike in the mountains for the next day (coming up in the next video!)

Morning brings clearing weather and the promise of sunshine for our hike, so we drink coffee, eat a hearty breakfast and pack our bags for the day – its going to be a big epic adventure…
