Found a new site with potential for training and use as a temporary bug out location if shtf. This location is nearly 20k acres of wilderness, full of wildlife and what remains of a Cold War era military base.

Most are demolished, but some structures remain. The buildings and bunker complex are in excellent condition, making it useful as a bug out shelter. As is true of locations like this, it’s only a matter of time before the property is sold and developed.

This is why it is important to have multiple sites scouted and under watch.

Apart from a bug out location/urban training grounds, this area can serve as an urban cache site for anything from food to weapons, the possibilities are basically endless.
