Sleeping in a Medieval Bushcraft Shelter: Storm Lanterns, Stone Circle Fire, Winter Camping

Join me as I spend the night winter camping alone in a medieval bushcraft shelter. I light the medieval house with storm lanterns and build a raised bed with axe, knife and saw. I also build a stone circle fire to cook a feast on. I also build some furniture for the shelter, lashing together some sticks to make a seat. The medieval door we recently built helped to keep the cold winter winds out. At night, a storm rolls in but the thatch roof kept the shelter dry and warm. The next day I use some bushcraft skills to craft a pot hanger setup to hang the kettle over the fire. I’m looking forward to building more furniture here in the saxon house.
