Solo Survival Shelter in the Forest with Hand Tools | Cooking on Hovering Grill

EPIC SURVIVAL AND WILDERNESS LIVING! I put the finishing touches on my bushcraft solo survival lean-to shelter by adding grass bedding and a front to shelter on all sides. I then cook trout I caught ice fishing in fresh rendered goat fat and maple sugar on a hovering grill given to me by a subscriber. I add pumpkin soup to the meal from my Native American garden, maple syrup I harvested from trees on the property last spring, pin cherry jam I collected last fall, and make masa corn flour cakes which is endemic to the area due to it’s agricultural heritage.

– I will show you how to debone a trout!
– I will show you how to make easy pumpkin soup or pumpkin pie without a crust.
– I will show you how to hang a fire grill over an open fire for cooking.
– I will show you how to build a lean-to-structure with just materials in the woods without cordage.

It is important to keep in mind that building survival shelters are not to be elaborate in construction as this simple structure required many calories and much time to complete. Also, I needed tools and material. In fact, I used an entire spruce tree and dozens of cedars to put it together. The good thing is that I didn’t need any cordage or other modern gear if you don’t count the saw and axe I used which were not really needed anyway.
