Spearing Gar in Texas

This is one of the methods by which I fish for gar in the rivers and creeks. With a bit of skill and luck, a meal is almost guaranteed when Gar prowl the night.

Note: These fish were cleaned, battered, and fried to perfection before bing eaten. I do not kill creatures in vain and do not condone such acts.
